Chapter1: Years ago, a racer of incredible skill roamed the streets of Scar Speed. He went by the codename Akira. His mysterious outlook gave the impression that he was a mad scientist turned racer roaming about the streets on a strange mission. Akira believed that he could travel through time if he could travel at a fast enough velocity. Thus his experiments began. In an attempt to reach the target velocities, Akira modified his car to a degree that was both fascinating and life-threateningly dangerous at the same time. Nobody understood what he was searching for or why he wanted to travel through time, but a mad scientist he was.

Legend has it that during one of his drag runs, his car blazed into flames and vanished for a few seconds, then reappeared at the starting line. People got closer to his car, looking for an explanation for the anomaly they had just witnessed. Akira seemed a lot older than when he started the race just a few seconds ago; his then-black hair was now a mix of dark gray and silver. Sitting in the driving seat Akira was mumbling to himself, "I have spent years at that place but I have found them all. The relics are mine."

Chapter 2: Some of the people standing around his car caught sight of what seemed like a bunch of glowing cards in a bag laying on the passenger seat. The cards appeared to be pieces of technology that seemed so advanced that it almost felt magical. Upon noticing that his secret has been revealed, Akira stepped on the pedal escaping to his safe house.

Nobody saw Akira ever again since then or knew where he went. It was as if he mysteriously vanished from the planet. Months later, the authorities found out about his once-unknown safe house location. They found a journal into which Akira used to log everything he deemed important. These words were written on the last page of the journal:

"These relics of the past must only be found by the ones in the future. I am locking them in a time capsule hidden in plain sight. The time capsule shall unlock on 01.12.2022. I must travel into the future right before it unlocks. Only the worthy shall get their hands on these relics. I shall keep a watch on them."

Nobody knew, exactly, what it all meant or why Akira went after the relics. What perplexed more was that it seemed as if Akira purposefully left his journal behind.

Chapter 3: In the present time, a few days before the time capsule unlocks:

Years later, a group of racers who call themselves "The Guardians" have found a device in the woods behind the place where Akira's safe house once used to be. The device appears to be the time capsule, Akira had mentioned in his journal, locked inside which are the card-like relics. No one knows who The Guardians are or where they came from. They seem to be part of some secret organization whose mission is to make sure that only the worthy can get their hands on the relics, as Akira had stated in his journal. After finding the time capsule, The Guardians roamed the streets, spray painting every other wall with these words, "To be worthy, you have to decide it is you. So are you worthy of possessing the relics of that past?"
