The artist created this piece in 3 days, inspired by a prompt that was submitted by the public. In a unique twist, instead of being interpreted by an AI, this time the prompt was brought to life by a human artist. The entire creative process was livestreamed online and at the NFC Lisboa event.

Why did you choose this prompt? -- I chose this prompt because it provided an opportunity to explore a complex and meaningful topic, namely the journey of recovery from addiction and the beauty of life beyond it. Addiction is a serious issue that affects individuals and communities in profound ways, and the process of recovery can be long and difficult. However, it is a journey that is worth taking, and the rewards of a life free from addiction are immeasurable. Explain more your creative process: -- I used to work in the anti-drug police force, and I am fully aware of the hardships and misfortunes that people who fall into drug addiction go through. I have seen many talented and successful young people who, due to addiction, have lost the opportunities and progress that awaited them, and have been pushed towards depression, loneliness, and darkness. Even among the most successful and famous individuals in the world, you can see how they can fall into the trap of addiction and lose their fame and achievements.

But this is not the end of life. Quitting addiction can make the path of progress and growth smooth again and lead to an extraordinary life after addiction.
