This artwork is the final submission from the artist Marquita Milliken for the 'Humanity' event by the Faerian gallery. The artist created this piece in 3 days, inspired by a prompt that was submitted by the public. In a unique twist, instead of being interpreted by an AI, this time the prompt was brought to life by a human artist. The entire creative process was livestreamed online and at the NFC Lisboa event.
Original prompt text: -- 'I see before me a moonlit clearing. Surrounded by a dark forest, will-o'-the-wisps like garlands in the trees watch what's going on in the center of the clearing. At the center is an island resembling a face, a construction from another era. Surrounded by a lake of sparkling colors and atypical aquatic flora and fauna. At the center of the canvas, a humanoid form, difficult to discern and hypothetical, catches the eye.'

How is your final artwork related to the prompt? -- Literal and unfinished. I have tried to do a literal interpretation. I ran out of time, so it is only partially finished. The island that resembles a face, the atypical animal and plants, and the colours in the lake are yet to be added.
Why did you choose this prompt? -- The visual appealed to me and contained elements that I enjoy working with. Nature, landscapes, lights and colour. The reference to a hypothetical humanoid intrigued me.
