Further explain your creative process. To begin, I took the time to read and reread the challenge regulations to immerse myself in it. Then, I took a break and decided to take a nap, allowing my mind to rest and wander freely. Next, I focused on the two lists of words to choose the ones that inspired me the most. After selecting each word from each list, I searched for associations that best matched my artistic approach. Once again, I took a break and decided to take a nap to let my mind wander freely once more. The association of the words "Serenely" and "Deep" immediately made me think of my sketch of the Driver paying tribute to a real-life hero. In 2021, I had laid out the values of the different hills, trying to understand atmospheric perspective through gray values. A few months later, I explored indirect coloring, allowing me to quickly test different color schemes for my scene. Then, I put this artwork aside for a long time. It underwent numerous transformations over time. The choice of the color harmony with analogous colors to violet is part of my usual color palette. Step by step, layer by layer, the composition of the image began to take shape. Towards the end of my creative process, I meticulously examined each area of the image, ensuring that the chosen colors adhered to my artistic conventions and would be faithfully reproduced in a potential print.
