Toronto Sphynx Cats is an NFT PFP project managed by a single person. Illustrations, website and smart contract are run by a single person. As gurbus.eth, when I started this project, I aimed for success and to realize that they are actually very friendly, playful and kind cats that are considered ugly by many people.
The first ancestors of these cats were born by chance in Toronto in 1966 as a result of a genetic mutation. They were originally called the hairless cats of Toronto. Some breeders loved these hairless cats and they decided to breed cats that consistently produced hairless kittens. This increased their population.
Thus, Sphynxes began to be seen not only in Canadian provinces, but also in all other states of America, especially in the US state of Minnesota. Still today Toronto Sphynx cats are a popular pet in North America. At the same time, their popularity is increasing in Western Europe.
They named them Sphynx cats, likening them to sphinxes because of their appearance. Especially Sphynxes are smooth structures made of limestone, resistant to various abrasions from past to present. Sphynx cats have a muscular, hard and long body structure. No matter how scary they look in terms of their appearance, they are very friendly and gentle cats for many.
