The Nissers

Spirits of the earth and of the underground can move inside the ground with the same ease as man walk over it. They are very reserved beings and as such escape any contact with men, however often help them, in the shadow, in the vicissitudes of daily life. At other times, to witness their real existence, they would only be visible to some people who could in various ways disseminate their norm of life and their wisdom. They are said to be ruled by many leaders, who respond to their work to a Supreme King whose palace is located in a mysterious town in Finland.
