Spectrality is a collection that explores 'meaning' and recursion.
At what point does art have meaning? The moment it is conceived of? The moment it is created? When a viewer starts to have a relationship with it? When an artist reassesses their own work after the fact? This question has intrigued and baffled me in equal measures.
In Spectrality I explore this theme by repeating simple geometric forms, blending and layering gradients to create new forms and new perspectives.
