Poem Oceans Deep

Staring at my mirror, I whisper to my soul,
"Don't wait, act now, let your story be told."
Tears are good, they clean the eyes, a natural crater,
Pain is a gift, it changes you, shows you're alive,
Remembering what's forgotten, that's the real dive.

The version everyone sees, that's the true you,
Never forget, it's not just about what you do.
Your wish is granted, now tell me, hand on heart,
How many lives did you change, right from the start?

We're not here for ourselves, that's a fact to face,
Life's too short to live just for our own race.
If you messed up, what now? Is there a tomorrow?
First step, you gotta stop, confront the sorrow.

Life's a risky game, no one gets out unscathed,
Every breath, every step, could be the last paved.
But don't let that stop you, don't let it hold you back,
Enjoy the chaos, the fear, let it all attack.

Feel the rush of blood, the pounding in your chest,
Life's a wild ride, put your courage to the test.
Remember the real shit, no fake gloss cap,
Authentic you is what they view, not scripted crap.

See tomorrow? Maybe, maybe tomorrow not, but deeds overdue,
So first things first, hit the brakes on wrong turns too.
Life's a risky road, curve swerves and burns galore,
Spoiler alert, no one dodges the final curtain call for sure.

In the end, we all face the same unknown fate,
So make it count, make it matter, before it's too late.
Live fierce, live raw, spread light in the seasons thaw,
Tick tock remember don't slack, don't let life make you withdraw.

It's all just a gain on the oceans back, a moment's dance,
So jump in, swim deep, take the plunge, seize your chance.
