When I was pregnant with my first child, I hiked Bryce Canyon’s trails deep in the night. The world that surrounded me was vast and desolate. I didn’t see a single soul during this excursion. It was an eerie and unforgettable atmosphere. I experienced a profound sense of solitude, but simultaneously, an intense connection with the life growing inside me, feeling every flutter and kick in my belly. This tension shifted my perception and gave rise to a new world.
