Introducing
Neuroart helps to ease the mind by simply accepting the fact that it does not have to be perfect.
I first started to get to know neuroart in 2022. Neuroart helps to ease the mind by simply accepting the fact that it does not have to be perfect, yet we are still in control during the whole process which builds self-confidence and heals mental and emotional wounds by simply creating something that is pleasing for us. Neurographics can be created by focusing on certain issues while creating which takes away the edges of the problems and helps them contemplate them without the need to actually solve them right away. They also can be created just for the sake of creation. There are plenty of ways to create them, the most common one recently is drawing intersecting lines or circles, round the intersections, and filling the created spaces with colors. The medium, the colors, and the shapes are all free of choice. The only main goal is to create something that we are able to do from start to finish and we only want to please one person: ourselves.
Neuroart has as many different ways to create as we people are different, but my main approach was to use watercolor, ink, and some acrylic on paper and canvas. Each piece has its unique story as I was using the art to help me process through some very deep traumatic experience. This is what caught my attention in neuroart that my pain can produce beauty. And that is what brings the healing. That is what can help us bloom again after a dry season.
