Music of the Spheres is a traditional hand-made work of art created using pen, ink, and watercolor. It is part of my "Days of Darkness" series which uses a unique numbering convention for each work of art, as square root equations.
"Musica universalis" is a philosophical concept that regards the proportions of celestial bodies such as the Sun, Moon, and planets as a form of music.
Each planet emits a tone or frequency in space. Dr. Dre has mentioned using these tones in his music. Although related, this artwork was not inspired by Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres album!
