The most intrinsic and fundamental aspect of the universe is an underlying order. A pattern that makes everything 'go'. It is both beyond us as much as it is inside us. The patterns of entropy, the movements of galaxies and stars within them, the order in which molecules bind... These are laws of the universe that precedes us - we do not invent them, we merely observe the perfect patterns. This is the Logos. We as a species have the ability to embody this "creation of order out of chaos". Art is one of the best examples of this: in front of me I have a blank piece of paper; it is both nothing and everything due to the potential it holds. This is chaos. With a stroke of charcoal I attack the chaos by limiting the potential until it gets to the point where I have decided it is finished. I limit the potential until it only has one potential: the resulting artwork. This, too, is the Logos.
