In Different Ways

I am like this, just as I am,
I see, I analyze, and I move ahead.
The path is narrow, flawed,
Yet it’s the one I tread.

In different ways, I understand
That tomorrow is just a dream.
It does not exist without desire,
Without courage, without a gleam.

And still, through uncertain roads,
On trails where fear once spread,
I see the fire that consumes
Those who never dared.
