Edinarte Biomorphic

Each and every Edinarte NFT is created of the image of my original mixed media painting. In my art I am seeking to answer the question of how far it is possible to express ideas with abstract forms, beyond the evocation of emotions. I really enjoy exploring the different levels of abstraction, to play around with the idea of hiding and revealing. This way my artworks usually evoke associations, mainly of birth and evolution, whether it is the genesis of the universe, the origin of life or the evolvement of a human being.

The themes of my paintings take us back to the beginnings. The workings of our wonderful cells and genes, as well as the birth of an enormous universe, may remind the audience to preserve our unique and inimitable human values and to protect our environment.

In my narrative I am always raising these questions with the aim of making impact on people’s thinking. It is my nature that I like experimenting and improvisation. During creation of my figurative abstract artworks at the beginning I follow a process-driven method. There is a strong emphasis on spontaneity, exploration and versatile use of materials. Gestures and shapes evolve intuitively on the canvas, emerging from my subconscious. In the later stages of the creative process conscious form-making also plays a role.

Art critics usually emphasize my remarkable sense of colour and composition. The advance of technology necessarily has a major impact on contemporary art and artists. I have recently started to explore digital expression and am experimenting with the use of artificial intelligence in my work. This means an additional opportunity for the unfolding of creativity where the emphasys is on composition and colour. I hope I can create something unique by mixing the digital version of my paintings with pieces of art photograpy and AI to give them an additional layer of interpretation where advanced technology and the prospects of the future play a role, too.
