Introducing
The photo was repeatedly databent by manually altering its raw file data in a text editor, intentionally disrupting the JPG byte code structure.
The photo was subjected multiple times to a databending process. Each version was created by manually manipulating the raw file data in a text editor, where I intentionally disrupted the structure of the JPG byte code. As a result, illogical, chaotic distortions emerged, digital equivalents of errors: glitches. Each iteration introduced new visual disturbances: color shifts, pixel damage, and dislocated visual data.
From the corrupted versions, selected fragments were then cut, layered, shifted, and combined with elements of the original photo in Photoshop.
A form of digital collage that merges destruction and reconstruction, randomness and intention. The final outcome is a layered composition that retains traces of the original image, yet exists in a new, distorted order.
