The "black background" and "limited stars" indicate the relative emptiness of space around the supermassive black hole.

An astronomical object known as a supermassive black hole, esp. At the center of many galaxies, including the Milky Way, is a supermassive black hole. The mass of these black holes is millions or even billions of times that of our sun. When matter, such as gas and dust, falls towards a black hole, a structure of rapidly rotating material is spun inward by gravitational forces. The "egg-shaped" description is a representation of bright and hot matter. As matter is pulled toward the black hole, it heats up to extremely high temperatures and emits intense radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, including visible light. This radiation can create a bright, disk-like structure around the black hole. The "black background" and "limited stars" indicate the relative emptiness of space around the supermassive black hole. In the vicinity of a black hole, gravitational forces are so strong that even light struggles to escape, creating a region of darkness known as the black hole's event horizon. This region contrasts with the surrounding space, where stars may be present but not as concentrated as in other parts of the galaxy. The astronomical image corresponds to a subject of study in astrophysics.
